Is there a problem with the verification system?
----------------------------------------It appears that the entire output of my iMac has been held up in Pending Verification for at least a couple of days. My other Macs have no problems. I don't understand the reasons for this.

RTS48, Can you tell me the machine number or the machine name?
Chances are, your machine was marked as unreliable for an invalid work unit, it requires your host to prove itself against other hosts consistently to become reliable again. What you are probably waiting for is your wingman to come back to validate your result. Or the other side of the coin is, if your machine is reliable, it may be asked to compare against other computers that are unreliable to help verify them. Thanks, -Uplinger |

I don't know if you have enough information here but this is ome of the PV result logs

Hello,
It looks like your device had an invalid and it shows you only have 6 consecutive valid results. This caused your device to be determined unreliable. There are a lot of results out waiting for your wingman to return their results. Lets see what happens over the next few days with the results back from your wingman. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Probably caused by one or two of the interminable power cuts we have here. My other two Macs are laptops so are not susceptible to power blips. Looked this morning and I now have about 19 in PV jail which is an improvement from the 40+ a few days ago. I think that all will be cleared by wingmen in the next couple of days. Thanks very much for your help on this Uplinger

Hello,
I have a problem with the verification code that connects my WCG results to some online game. (Improbable Island's Distributed Supercomputer.) The mods there say the issue must lie on the WCG side. Sorry for being so clueless, I can't even tell if this is the same issue or if I need to start a thread of my own? The error messages in the game started when I installed WCG on my new computer. For all I can tell from the "My contribution" page, the computer is returning results and generating points just fine. |

Definitively it's something totally different and has nothing in common with Pending Verification issue reported by the author of this thread. Open a new thread and ask for help there. And if the issue started on 25/05 and it is somehow linked with exchange of your stats with an external website (it looks like) then it could be linked with GDPR - European personal data protection directive. Have a look here https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,40833 and here https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,40823

Thanks for your clarification! My problems started when I installed WGC on my new computer, and I'm the only player affected, so it's not about GDPR.
