Are there any GPU processing for this?

I have a huge interest in helping out. Currently, I'm using a 16 core / 32 thread CPU, but was hoping to utilize my GPU as well.

Will this be a CPU bound processing system?

Re: Are there any GPU processing for this?

Welcome to crunching and the Forums, Andrew Esquivel smile
Currently, no WCG projects utilizes GPU,
and as far as I know there are no immediate plans for that.
But we welcome all you can do with your CPU

Where do you come from?

Re: Are there any GPU processing for this?

I haven't been on the WCG forums in many months (although I keep crunching), and I just wanted to say how happy I am to see little mermaid's posts. You were not around when I was most recently here, and you were missed.

Re: Are there any GPU processing for this?

I was off for a while myself - did not even crunch - and regard this as my third inning, kateiacy.
Thank you for your comment, it’s very kind of you smile
Did you know that a comment like this is exactly what could earn your team a visit from Base Camp
– needs a bit of editing for an update now -
or as a minimum from me some day?
Not one to let an opportunity get past me:
Would you think Base Camping could be within your field of interests?
- well, you're the captain of your team so that's not doable without special measures.

- and did you know that your very neat Forum Profile fulfills all my wishes for a Forum Profile?
I can see you are from Iowa.
I know I’m going Off Topic now
– probably were all along; I hope Andrew Esquivel and ErikaT will bear with me
but geography is so important to me.
Your team name - Coralville Crunchers - leads me to believe you’re from Coralville.
Which leads me to look up Coralville on Wikipedia and the website of the City of Coralville, Iowa, too.
You may not have Corals in earnest in that very middle of the USA, but you found fossils of them
in your limestone deposits, which by the way is found near me as well, and you certainly have lots
of other interesting things, for instance something to have to do with water:

Coralville's flood protection system was recognized for its innovation by
the Iowa Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
The mile-long system includes varied flood control measures,
with an integrated maintenance access way that doubles as a multi-use trail system.

- and much, much more.
There are so many things I would like to see.
Being a mermaid I would find it within reach
to navigate north on the Mississippi and turn left at the Missouri confluence
and straight out until I bump into that flood protection system.
Does it have a mermaid ladder?
