Account Question?

I don't know if this is the right Forum?

I have been a member since 2007 supporting many projects over the years. Last fall, my Win7 PC crashed and the only recovery method was to restore the Win7 Operating System without my Software. I re-installed the World Community Grid software and could not remember my 2007 login information so I created a new account. I have since found my 2007 Login information. How do I go back and Login in with my 2007 information so I continue to accumulate Points for my original account?

Essentially, I want to accumulate points using my original WCG Account and remove (delete?) my new Account.

Greetings,

Ok. In the software, if you click on advanced view.

https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewSelfHelp.do?topic=2

You'll get a different view with tabs across the top. Click on the Proejcts Tab, then select World Community Grid from that list. On the left you should see a button that is "Detatch". This will stop your agent from contributing under your new id.

After this is complete, you'll need to re attach to World Community Grid. You should be able to follow these instructions. (Remember to use your old login/password information when prompted)
