Re: What is the boinc friendly way to do a scheduled reboot?

So why do you worry about that?

I am concerned about the correct way of doing a reboot because a few days ago, when I just did a suspend and then rebooted, an upload was in progress and it failed. I found out that it failed by logging in to WCG, and checking the status. Now perhaps that failure, which seems like a problem to me (a waste of resources and time), maybe it really isn't a problem, because the boinc error recovery is very robust. However, I plan on continuing to try to not cause unnecessary errors.
