I have two very similar machines under my desk, both have the same ASUS mobo, 4 GHz Intel i7 processors, 16GB RAM, graphics cards, SSD's etc. The peripherals vary somewhat but not drastically. The net connection for both goes to my LinkSys router and on too a DSL suppliers router for onward transmission. They both have BOINC, (7.8.3 x64), running 24/7 and are connected to the same projects, with the same per project quota settings. One machine "appears" to have a preference for certain projects. This is not a spur of the moment observation, it is something I have noticed for some months, this machine "seems to prefer" WCG and Asteroids, the other LHC and yoyo. Is there any reason for this or is it simply observational quirk?
