Hello everyone.. I have a new computer and I'm having problems setting up wcg on it.. I need help with the setpoints, etc. Doctor Mike I do not understand your query. Is it a windows computer? |

Hello everyone.. I have a new computer and I'm having problems setting up wcg on it.. I need help with the setpoints, etc. Doctor Mike Mike, did you download BOINC from www.boinc.berkeley.edu? Did it install correctly? Can you bring up BOICManager in advanced mode? If all these are yes, how did you try to attach to the WCG project? |

I've attached everything and it's working now. I have a new computer with 8 threads, so it's running 8 wu's at a time. :) I had to keep my computer from "sleeping" to keep it from turning off after awhile. Can't tell if my results are going up yet.\

It is a Windows 10 computer. Don't know if I need to tweak the settings or not, it's running much more now. Don't know if I could or should run GPU units either.
