confused Linux speed bonus in Ebola vs Zika vs SCC vs FAH1

Just upgraded my work computer to a Ryzen 1700x.
For the first time ever, I'm running a Ubuntu machine.

I know the VINA tasks complete much faster in Linux than in other operating systems, and I wanna maximize that bonus. Goal is both to do more work and to pull as many hours of VINA units away from other user's Windows clients as possible so they can run more efficiently.

But they're not all running the same version of Vina.
So, percentage-wise, how do each of the four rank in their disparity from Windows run-times?

That website's a mess!
Hundreds of CPUs listed with no sample size.
Lots of projects listed as using 0 RAM.

If you could decipher it, and you thought it was trustworthy, you would have answered the question.

Re: Linux speed bonus in Ebola vs Zika vs SCC vs FAH1

I can only speak from personal POV. I wrote a post here yesterday to compare Linux and Windows performances on Ryzen 7: https://xtremesystemsteam.org/index.php/topic,24608.0.html

That's for FAH1 and SCC. So Linux is about twice as fast as Win10. (Ryzen)

Same thing with my I7-5960X. With Win10 it averaged about 13k BOINC points/day and with Mint it averaged about 21k Boinc points/day.

Off Topic: I had to OC my I7 to 4.325ghz in order for it to keep up neck to neck with the Ryzen@3.625ghz. The I7 died last week :( .. shouldn't do that I know

@VietOZ
I don't run Linux but comments on MIP forums suggest the Linux version is way slower than on Windows, so that project may be an exception.

I can try to run MIP after I hit 100yrs SCC. I'm on the 84th year so it'll be a little more than 2 weeks from now.
