Hi,
----------------------------------------I might be a little confused here - so if I am please humor me. I have boinc and wcg to use the processor when usage is above 60%. I also have it set to run when the computer is in use. But yet I see this. I'm curious if something else I'm missing could have caused this? Or am I reading this wrong? How does WCG calculate computing time? E.g. if I have boinc set to suspend on idle, does it also take that into consideration? If I use the computer for 8 hours, for example would it say 12.77 /20.00? 10/14/17 03:10:23 10/14/17 20:08:26 12.07 / 15.77 459.7 / 459.7 So to me, that's nearly 4 hours of lost boinc computing time. I'm 100% certain that nothing was using more than 60% of the processor for that long - maybe 30 minutes, at most.

As an example, I have a ZIKA-WU running here, started at 00:30. The 'Computing preferences' are set to 'Use at most 60% of the CPU time' and to 'Use at most 100% of the CPUs' (= use all CPUs). The WU will end at 03:55, after almost 3½ hours. The CPU-time (the time that was spent by the CPU) will be 2 hours and a few minutes (60% of 3½ hours). The elapsed time will be somewhat more, but close to 60%, maybe 62%.

Hi,
----------------------------------------My computing time is set to 100% as well as CPU usage. Unless something did take 50% of this machine? Sorry if I'm still seeming confused.

Another example. My Android phone has 4 cores and it is running two ZIKA-WUs at the same time. Both WUs will be running for 24 hours (Elapsed Time). The CPU-time however will be 12 hours for each WU. Then I will run only one ZIKA-WU at once and it will run for 12 hours (Elapsed Time). The CPU-time will be 12 hours again. So there is no need to run 2 WUs concurrently, 'cause the device is not strong enough to handle more than 1 WU running at the same time.
