I have team that I gave the name of a website. It was once a well attended website but it, as are many web forums, is dwindling and people are moving to Facebook. I would like to change name to make it more general, but I don't want to do anything to create issues with the current team members. I would want the name change to be completely transparent to existing members.

The name changes, not the team code to which the team members are linked.

To be sure I understand: Are you saying name changes have no effect on anything else -- anything other than the name?
