I have 13 systems currently running WCG on Ubuntu 17.04 and have a total of 6 MIP errors. 2 were download errors previously reported and 2 were another error previously reported. Collectively these 13 machines have returned 17,382 WUs. The above two errors were reported for tech/scientist evaluation since they don't look like machine or OS type errors.

To complete the history: as mentioned earlier, recently I tried to compute a few MIP workunits. To my surprise, they were calculated correctly and got "valid" state. Since then I calculated around 10 MIP workunits without any problem.
----------------------------------------Either something was secretly updated in my system (and normally I'm well aware what's going on with it) or updating MIP application to the version 7.16 did the trick. One way or another, I can crunch MIP on all my machines :-) Please forgive reviving such old thread, but I believe that information like this should land here. ![]() |
