Dear Volunteers,
----------------------------------------We're thrilled to announce a large-scale, comprehensive study of the proteins within the bacteria in and all over the human body: the Microbiome Immunity Project. Thanks to the enormous computing power of World Community Grid, powered by volunteers like you, our multidisciplinary team will study the structures of these proteins, which may hold the key to the human microbiome's role in diseases such as Type 1 diabetes, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis. We hope you will join us in this vast undertaking by signing up to contribute to this project! Thank you, The Microbiome Immunity Project research team [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 22, 2017 4:06:16 PM] |

Welcome, to the pleasure dome, of WCG. MIP1 for short I suppose. This is so ahead of everything, nothing on this site seems to have loaded as yet, not even a chance to select the new research mannually.

I've just manually opted in, downloaded quite a few of the new WU's and pushed them to the front of the queue (I only got 2 WU's during the Beta - thus, thought I'd try to be one of the first to return some of these WU's in the Production environment).
----------------------------------------Anyhow, to all the researchers associated with this project - welcome. Please keep us regularly updated on the progress of your work, as this (along with regular participation of the forums), keeps us all involved and motivated |

Just opted in, as it didn't work automatically. Techs, admins - can you check out? In order to opt people in we have to run a script that takes a bit to run. We just finished running it. We don't start it until after we have checked things out a bit. |
