Can I run work units that are on my computers while the wcg is recouping from the outage? Should I wait till everything is up and working again?
I know some projects have to have a connection for updates in each work unit. thanks |

All projects at WCG can be run "off-line", which is the whole purpose of being able to buffer work, just in case something between your hosts and the projects goes belly up, your comps can still compute on.

All projects at WCG can be run "off-line", which is the whole purpose of being able to buffer work, just in case something between your hosts and the projects goes belly up, your comps can still compute on. *Cue FightingAIDS phase 2 and it's WU failures if at least one of the checkpoints wasn't triggered.
