Hello all,
The website functionalities (i.e making changes to member name, project selections, device settings, etc.) have been fully restored. Please continue to let us know if you experience any issues making any changes. I would also like to thank all of you for your support and patience during this issue. ----------------------------------------There was supposd to be some 'minor' maintenance work yesterday - except that tt's turned out to be rather longer than they'd planned... The last communication we had from the WCG techs was around 10 hrs ago - so, I don't even know if anyone's there still trying to fix it. for those of you having run out of work units, there is a very simple solution to prevent this in the future in the Boinc Manager, under Options/Computing Preferences, there's a box titled Other where you can increase the number of days worth of work units you can have downloaded in advance. mine is currently set to 3 with an additional 3, but you'll want to set your own numbers based upon your circumstances. I've still got dozens of work units being happily crunched... Doesn't work here, i get no more than approx. 280 WUs regardless of the setting in computing preferences. With small WUs like FA@H non rigid one runs out of Wus in just two hours on one machine. |
