Monday 6/26/2017 - 10:09 UTC - I run WCG simultaneously on my PC and my laptop. On Sunday 6/25, WCG began running again on the PC. It is still not running on the laptop - "Waiting to Contact Project Servers".
I have uninstalled and re-installed the application, but it still is not working on my laptop. Any suggestions? Thank you. |

@K.MG There was a major system issue that took down their entire system. It is now currently back up and running. I would suggest going into BoincManager into the transfer tab, clicking Retry Now, wait for everthing to upload. Then go to the Project tab, and click Update Now. That should hopefully fix your issues.
----------------------------------------However, if you were working on tasks like Childhood Cancer, or HSTB you will have to wait a while till they fix the last few issues ![]() |

Note: HSTB indexing script that puts a few on the grid over the course of the day is running again as well.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Also, all of the validators (except FightAIDS@Home - Phase 2) are caught up.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Keith,
----------------------------------------Also, all of the validators (except FightAIDS@Home - Phase 2) are caught up. Any ideas yet as to when we'll be able to download some new FAH2 WU's - or are you holding fire until everything (including any remaining trickle files that may be "out there") has been uploaded and validated?![]() |

So, FAH2 work units get generated after results come back in. But to help prevent members from having invalid results, I'm letting clients have 24 hours to upload the intermittent upload files that go with those trickle messages. Once that 24 hours is up, I'll start the trickle handler to help validate those results, then when the trickle handler is caught up, I'll add the validators and assimilator for the project so they can process quickly which creates the next generated results. So, new FAH2 work will probably be another 24 hours from now. My guess would be they will start flowing after midnight of the 27th.
Note: There may be a few FAH2 results that will be indexed and loaded that were created before the outage, that script will pick them up at midnight tonight, but I wouldn't imagine it being many. Thanks, -Uplinger |

I tried exiting BoINC and re-launching it, but the button for retry now was STILL disabled. Any suggestions? |
