Hi,
I've just set up four machines to run the agent, but my best pc's processor (2.5GHz P4) is only graded at 28/100. Thats worse than a P800. It also seems to be taking longer than the others to complete a WU - nearly 10 hours. Any ideas? Does this mean my processor is damaged or something? I've got plenty of ram so thats not the problem. Thanks |

Hi and welcome to the forums
Firstly, your processor score will not read an accurate assessment until you return your first work unit off that system. When preparing to send results the agent benches the system sorta thing.....and a more accurate rating will then be reflected. Also, you say that the work unit is taking a long time......that may simply be because it is working on a larger work units than your other systems. I have had units on same system vary between 2 and 16 hours. I wouldn't worry unduly til after first result or two have been returned. However, in the meantime you could check in task manager to make sure other processes aren't eating up your cpu cycles. Hope this helps. |
