Hey all,
----------------------------------------I ran into an issue today with one of my systems where an OpenZika WU ended up using over 3GB of system RAM and hung the system. I have changed my BOINC settings to lower memory settings and the WU is "Suspended: Waiting for memory". This is the first WU that I've ever had do this. Any have any information on what might be causing this? I'm assuming it's a memory leak bug or something along those lines. WU is ZIKA_000254488_x3e90_WNV_NS2bNS3pr_Pep_AB_A_0268_0 AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (8 cores/16 threads)@3.85 GHz, 32 GB RAM 7x Dual Intel Xeon E5-2640 (2 x 6 cores/12 threads)@2.5 GHz, 256 GB RAM |

I can't offer any explanation to what is happening. Try giving your system restart and see if the task will restart from the last successful checkpoint using less memory.

Tried that a few times, did not seem to do anything unfortunately. In the end I had to just abort the WU as no further WUs would start. Once I aborted it, 4 WUs started up and haven't had any issues since.
