w00t! 50k points now... And just got a Server at work running WCG for part of it's burn-in testing. :) Won't last too long though, probably a week or two at most. Chowbow, congrats on getting 50.000 points! 57CHEVY is off to a great start and 4inez and yorkyboyuk2001 are getting close to some new milestones as well. ![]() |

Body by Fisher Engineered by AMD LOL! Ok, just curious here, what kind of rigs do our Team Mates have? My main PC: Lian-Li 12-Bay Silver Aluminum Case, Model "PC-65" (Using EVEREST Ultimate Edition 2005 (c) 2003-2005 Lavalys, Inc.) Motherboard: CPU Type: AMD Athlon 64 (Newcastle), 2200 MHz (11 x 200) 3500+ Motherboard Name: Asus A8V Deluxe System Memory: 1024 MB (DDR SDRAM) Crucial Ballistix 184-Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200 with heat spreaders Display: Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT (256 MB) Monitor: Dell 2001FP (Digital) [20" LCD] Disk Drive 1: Seagate ST320082 2AS (200 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA) Disk Drive 2: Seagate ST320082 2AS (200 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA) Optical Drive: SONY DVD RW DRU-710A DVD+RW/DVD-RW) Optical Drive: SONY DVD-ROM DDU1613 (16x/48x DVD-ROM) My back up PC needs to be upgraded: Lian Li Silver ATX Mid-Tower Case, Model "PC-60" (I'll keep this) Enermax 431 Watt - Dual Fan Control "Noiseless" ATX Power Supply Intel Desktop Board D865GRH (yep, an 865G). Intel 3.2 GHz Extreme Edition CPU 2 sticks of some generic 512 Megabyte PC 2100 memory crap Plextor Plexwriter 241040 CD-ReWriter 1 100.9 Gigabyte Special Edition Hard Disk Drive 7200 - 8 Meg Cache 1 100.9 Gigabyte Special Edition Hard Disk Drive 7200 - 8 Meg Cache ATI 9600 XT Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy Platinum EX Long story on how I got an Intel cpu. It was an emergency (during a weekend, and I *had* to have it up and running by the following Monday), because it too, was a business PC. Got it at a greatly discounted price. I have only used it for two months and I wonder if I should keep it as a "spare" and get an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor like the 4800+. ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by Johnny Cool at Oct 1, 2005 2:28:33 AM] |

It's for those "special" videos. Some of my rigs: Voodoo PC Rage - AMD 3500+ OC'd to 2.45GHz, 2x512mb Ballistix, 6800GT, misc. HDs and opticals. Self Built AMD 3000+ OC'd to 2.6GHz, 2x512mb Ballistix, PCI 8mb GPU Shuttle XPC SB75S - Intel 3.2E Prescott OC'd to 3.78GHz, 2x512mb Corsair C2PT, 9800Pro, misc HDs and opticals. Old Dell desktop - Intel 2.0GHz, 2x512mb Crucial Value, some GPU and HDs and opticals. Voodoo PC M:355/M:360 (self upgraded) laptop - Intel Pentium M 1.6, 1GB Crucial, MR9700 GPU, 60GB/7200rpm HD. IBM laptop - Intel Celery 366MHz, 128mb RAM, 6GB HD! CPU consistently runs at 82*C... Temporary rig: Dell 1850 rack server. Dual Xeon 3.0GHz, 2GB ECC, 73GB 10k SCSIs in RAID 1. |
