It is a saving grace that MrKermit is now with (SNURK and Friends) in #2 position!. But by my calculations, it will take me 36 Calendar Years to catch up to him. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

dcs1955 - Keep your fingers crossed for a new system I'll need to burn in this year. If we can pull off the financing we should be able to make another big splash. For the record, Efficiency per Watt is more important than bulk result returns IMHO. Go Illini! http://motorsports.illinois.edu/

I will spend my next 36 hrs trying to achieve your 2015 numbers. Over the past year, I have used Two reconditioned desktops and 2 laptops with cracked screens + one fully working laptop to get to #2 Position in results. Time/points will be number 2 in two weeks. Go Illini, cool cars. ![]() ![]() |

::fingers crossed for MrKermit::
dcs1955 - Congrats on the ranking! Keep crunching and adding machines....who knows what can transpire if you keep at it. (But perhaps set a few intermediate goals to keep yourself interested for the next 36 years. ) |

Thanks Col323
----------------------------------------I gave up asking people if they had broken laptops. They might have them but lost the chargers. I know frequent reconditioned computer websites. I have been able to find I5 core desktops for around $250 which adds serious computing power. In a couple of years, I7's will be had for the same amount. ![]() ![]() |

A lot can happen in 36 years. We are likely to have another GPU project by then which can disrupt things in a hurry.
The organism thought to have the longest lifespan is the glass sponge. 6000-23000 years are the estimates. Perhaps some are older than human civilization. With a little gene modification we may have similar lifespans. |
