A lot can happen in 36 years. We are likely to have another GPU project by then which can disrupt things in a hurry. The organism thought to have the longest lifespan is the glass sponge. 6000-23000 years are the estimates. Perhaps some are older than human civilization. With a little gene modification we may have similar lifespans. Thanks, something else to look for cheap processing power. I will have to do some research, I know my machines are wanting in the GPU department.   |
