Hello everyone,
----------------------------------------I have noticed that the points yield per hour of CPU time is significantly less than the 25 points / hour of other projects (ZIKA, OET etc.). Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes. Something is seriously wrong. My points per day (across the life of the projects, as shown on the "My Contribution" page) have been:
3913 -- TB 3640 -- FAAH2 3249 -- Zika 2921 -- SCC The points granted for SCC during the last few days (from the "Results Status" page) have been especially low. One machine that usually generates close to 30 points per CPU core hour is now generating only about 11.5 points per CPU core hour when running SCC. |

yup, I've noticed that too, I'm lost about 100,000 points per day recently

Yepp, seen it too. Feels like a strong connection with the much shorter WUs we've seen just lately.

I can confirm this situation on my side on all hosts (windows, Linux, Intel, AMD).
----------------------------------------From time to time, there are significant steps down regarding the granted credits, even if the results are valid. Yves ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by KerSamson at Mar 24, 2017 9:00:45 AM] |

BOINC produces credit which WCG converts to points, but it's credit that's being discussed in this post: Data from the 19th through 23rd on 23623 results, most 32 core machines, details I can not share on: Average 25.14/Hr, low result 7.51/hr, high result 57.93/hr. The WCG project average is 25.94/hr for this period.

I am showing quite an increase in points as the work units have gotten smaller. With the work units in the 2 to 4 hour range BOINC points were 15 to 25 per hour while with the shorter units, under an hour, I am showing up to 66 BOINC points per hour. This is on the same machine with Linux Mint 18. I don't pretend to understand it, it just is. Points are nice, but getting the work done is the important part.

I wonder how long it will take for the points to turn in minus

Everything is completely normal https://bit.ly/WCGCPH1 ... the BOINC credit system is incapable to timely adjusting, always days behind, and when longer and shorter are mixed, mahem ... it works best when a project has flat result runtimes, which so 'graphically' is displayed for 1 science in particular.
