Just noticed as had taken a break for a few months! Oh well better then nothing and anyone who wants badges for this project sufferers equally! So go to 5 years if possible then yea!

as i read all the msgs before i dont think so! i have just understood now why it gets so long to win my first badge in front of all big cats ! keeping a feeling of unfair,i wonder how to attract news ones to WCG.....doubts alged, I have some questions: - Can you explain what you understood that makes you think it took you longer to earn your first badge? - Please explain why you have a "feeling of unfair" if the earning of badges is based on run time and not on points? I read your comments and I'm not understanding how those comments relate to the discussion, which is about a project providing lower number of points related to other projects. Appears the points are now comprobable to other projects. Work units time to completion half the previous length but same number of points! Yea!

Take your pick "comprobable", maybe a contraction of comparable and probable, definitely from the wrong side of the English Channel, better known on the right side as the Calais Narrow ;O)

This is not a a complaint, merely an observation. I have one system that periodically just goes nuts on points. It seems to follow a rash of ultra short units. It eventually returns to more normal points after 12 to 24 hours. This only has occurred on one system and I have no idea why. Normal for this machine should be about 30 points per hour.

I would be really discouraged and disappointed if I were to find out that the biggest draw of new people to WCG are the badges. |
