No trouble here (least useful answer to a user), so maybe it's just browser cache pollution. Clean it out including cookies.
While testing on special characters, find some are permitted including the right square bracket, quite a surprise, for those who like them to prevent their gold standard points get robbed (^_-) Username can only contain letters, numbers, space and the special characters .@ !]_- |

Funny, admin sit up, the list of allowed special characters is seemingly incomplete, as it so happens, Bill, still in fear of Beatrice Kiddo, I see right below a member name that includes a left square bracket too... [
