Could it be an overheat problem? Possibly the system is getting too hot and windows is suspending the processes from running?
----------------------------------------Also, is BOINC set up to run as a service? If not and you are logging off, then that could be your problem. Edit: also, I am not aware if FAH2 is still currently set up this way, but when it first started, the computer had to be online in order for those "trickle ups" to be completed. If the computer was offline, this messed up the WU. I can't remember all the details though... [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 30, 2017 5:34:42 PM] |

Still trickling, FAH2 that is, every 10% step. The upcoming async wont do that, is my understanding.

You are correct and it is still set up this way, so if you do not have a constant connection(while running), this is not the project for you. Cheers

When you arrive to your laptop, is windows running, or has it gone to sleep/hibernate? If it hasn't then those settings arent your problem. |
