hello, hope anyone can help me with this question, i have been using ubuntu linux for a very long time and now running windows 10 on the same computer. only the work units take much more time to complete. up to 6 hours more than on Ubuntu Linux. is this normal or is Ubuntu that much faster ?

What projects?
----------------------------------------Zika, FAAH and OET1 run way faster on Linux than on Windows (like 60% faster) ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

If you are running any of the VINA applications (Zika, Ebola, or Faah) just about any Linux variation will be about twice as fast as any version of Windows. For the other projects the advantage is not as clear cut for either operating system.

I Run the openzika, help stop TB, Mapping cancer markers, and outsmart Ebola projects
even if it s not VINA, Linux runs way faster than windows 10 at WCG projects. So i will switch back to UBUNTU, Thanks for your help |
