Hello techs,
one of mine machine is returning Zika work and all results are marked as pending verification. Other machines are time-to-time marked for verification, but that one (deviceId=3595283) is verified all time. Results are Valid than. Is there any explanation for it? thanks |

Hi dango, I'm not a tech, but I'll suggest that this usually occurs when the machine has returned an Error or Invalid result for a zero redundancy project. Subsequent completed workunits are checked against another cruncher's results by initially marking yours as Pending Verification; this continues until more than 20 Valid results have been achieved.
If this started happening within the last day or so, the Error/Invalid result should still be present in your Results Status pages. The FAQ BOINC: Results Status page - What does xyz status mean? has a brief sentence about this. |

I don't think he's alone. I have been getting ~40-42 days of Run Time per day in Zika. In this mornings update I went up by 10 days, about half the normal update. I don't know how many pending validation tasks I normally have as I don't check but I have 12 pages atm.

I don't think he's alone. I have been getting ~40-42 days of Run Time per day in Zika. In this mornings update I went up by 10 days, about half the normal update. I don't know how many pending validation tasks I normally have as I don't check but I have 12 pages atm. Pending Validation is different from what dango is asking about. SIMULTANEOUS, when the validator rates a device as not reliable for quorum 1 all NEW distributed quorum 1 tasks for that project will be issued to affected device in quorum 2. Switch project for that device until 20 serial valids have accumulated again to prevent lots of unnecessary quorum 2 processing.
Last week's history suggests there was a problem with validation leading up to Wednesday, but it also could be some very large contributor had issues of some kind, Ferris Bueller maybe had a few days off: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewGlobalHistory.do |

Now running OpenZika only, 24 pages of Pending Validation together with 6 pages of Verification. Feel free about that... At least they are not error or invalid...
