the new graphic card gives the following error every time the community grid project runs:

Not sure what's going on with your card but there are no GPU projects running at WCG at this time and should have no effect on what your card is or isn't doing.

hm, cannot define not to use GPU. if you look at the error from boinc / community grid it is an graphics error by the community grid graphics executable...$

There are no GPU projects here therefore there is no GPU executable here. Whatever your issue is it's not coming from WCG. Try detaching from WCG and then reattach.

The error is probably coming from the executable that displays the graphics for the screensaver. Disable the screensaver and the error will probably go away.

Or you can wait for an MCM1 application update and see if it gets fixed in the update. I suspect that it will be a long time coming though as I can't remember the last time the MCM1 app was updated. The project will probably end first.

I had a strange problem during overclocking of my GTX1070 cards. What happened was that Boinc was unable to make contakt and failed to start but folding which actually use the GPU's worked just fine. Computers are silly.
Lowering the overclocking solved the problem. |

interesting, i don't overclock the card and SETI has no problem whats over.
i bought an asus geforce GTX, maybe this was an error, got bad experience with asus lately anyway, not only the graphic card. |

What fails, per your OP
Fault Module Name: nvoglv32.DLL https://www.google.com/search?q=nvoglv32.dll+...ei=KuYiWJ_LI6Gs8wexl5OADA OpenGL needed, but if you have picture from the Show Graphics on Seti, this suggests that part is fine as well as port 31416 being open to pass signal from boinc.exe and the science apps to boinc.scr |
