With UGM ending (only resend WUs left), you can see from the statistics page that the runtime share for that project that is now freeing up, is currently boosting the runtimes of OpenZika and MCM projects. However, this may change at any time in case a new project arrives or CEP2 gets back up etc.

WOW! Things are speeding up really FAST here!
If Zika is ETC in Febuary which is in about a bit more than 2 months only, all this massive crunching power will switch over to different projects. I noticed that MCM has a short ETC of April'17 already, and the only reason CEP2 hasn't finished yet is probably the fact that it is on halt (Beta-units set aside) Meanwhile, units from HST come in single drops once in a great while, and with OET at 69% so far, the only real large project left will be FAAH2. So I hope there already are some new projects in the pipeline... Chris! |

It just that they will only announce it once the beta work unit are send. AIDS, Ebola and TB will take a while, although I know MCM uses most of crunching power currently. So once MCM are done other research will speed up a lot. |

Yes, MCM has an ETC of April, but just a few weeks ago the techs told Sgt Joe (link) that they haven't a clue when the project will actually end:
----------------------------------------Recently another estimated 5,000 batches were added to the project. We are not able to say the exact number of additional batches that will be added in the future, but we are fully expecting to receive more work units for the Mapping Cancer Markers project. The researchers will turn to other cancer-type work units when the current ones near completion. |

Just an observation, not a prediction: In the month of October the status bar made a steady progression from 41% to 58%. If it continues at the same rate as it has over the last month then the status bar will reach 100% in mid January 2017. it's chopping away quite nicely...from 20th to 8th of Feb in 14 days: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...ad_thread,39475_offset,20 so it might soon be ending in Jan...as UGM finished & extra cores are available! |

KLiK, I suggest you to read ErikaT post about the completion/future of this project and come back and rethink your pist.
----------------------------------------In short and especially for you: 8,000 compounds nearly done (that is the progressbar referring to) Millions of compounds waiting.... |
