avg detects suspect virus in output file.

First seen today.
programdata\boinc\slots\3\vina_checkpoint\output_type_other_2.bin

No virus description except generic type.

Is it ok to remove?

Re: avg detects suspect virus in output file.

No, it's not OK, as that will cause the job to fail.

It's recommended to exclude .\programdata\boinc\ and subfolders from scanning in your AVG as there is always change of a false-positive. BOINC is sandboxed, and if installed as service even more secure since it then runs under a ltd rights account. The exclusion makes your crunching faster too!
