You could have put a warning in your OP title, or in the text and only post a link because some will have a hard time stomaching pictures like that.

WCG doesn't do any research themselves, they just assist research teams in gaining access to the grid. In order to get a project that will help with such a disease on the grid, you can encourage any researchers already working on the disease to apply to WCG. Of course, not all problems would benefit from the type of resources WCG can provide.

other than that...it's just common bacteria, for which you only need a good antibiotics! why aren't they available in Africa or Asia?
that's not a WCG concern, but a WHO & UN question...as well as leading countries in the World... ;)
