Re: Syracuse University

Heh. So if you knew the 0.0 CPU time trick you could create a new account, return 1 valid result with 0.0 time, and your Average Points Per Hour of Runtime would be infinite. I wonder how this would be displayed on the Member page/Average Points Per Hour of Runtime table.

In this day of hyperthreading and miltiple cores and low power Android and other devices, this table could be sorted the other way. Making the statistic essentially meaningless.

Re: Syracuse University

I have seen this on several WUs on other machines. Alll of them list the OS as Vertual. Mine is the _2.
I have looked at a number of valid entries with 0:00 CPU time and they all have the OS of Linux 3.2.0-56-virtual.

Re: Syracuse University

Would member Syracuse University please share with us what type of crunchers he/she has that can can return more than 20,000 results per day on less than three days runtime? I may need to get one of those. shock

somebody would have to check those users...not sure that anyone can power 9.000 computers by themselves! biggrin

it's not my place...but somebody should really warn a dean, so they can check it out...remember this one:
