As most of you know, FightAIDS@Home launched its second phase in the fall of 2015. At that time, we kept Phase 1 as an open project because we anticipated that we might need to carry out additional runs using Vina or Autodock, the software tools used in Phase 1. However, we have found that we don't have an immediate need for this at this time, and therefore we have agreed with the World Community Grid team that we can now officially close Phase 1. Of course, should our needs change, we would re-open Phase 1.

We are grateful to all volunteers who contributed computing time to Phase 1, and we continue to go full steam ahead with Phase 2, which builds upon the results obtained in Phase 1 of this important project.
