Today I noticed one of my computers had a "No work available to process" appear on the BONIC agent panel. This 4 core computer has been crunching for over one month. Since it is a cracked screen laptop it is dedicated to crunching.
----------------------------------------In looking at the In Process status for the device it shows work units. What is going on? Can I do something to continue crunching? ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by dcs1955 at Jul 10, 2016 12:27:31 AM] |

----------------------------------------If it's the same case you will need to Detach and add the WCG project again. ![]() |

Not sure if it exactly like any of the multiple issues in referenced thread. I am getting the following: DETACH? Is that the same thing as Reset Project command? If not how do I do it? I have already uninstalled/reinstalled WCG.

"No work available to process" is a common message. I only worry about it if it continues over an extended period of time.

Thanks Blade it is going on for 12 + hours. I have tried all the project commands + Uninstalling WCG and reinstalling a newly downloaded version. This sucks bigtime. This computer has been producing over 7000 points per day.

Sorted.... Thanks to Mumack and Seke.... For a complete done and dusted closure of the issue here is a simple step by step procedure for NEWBS like me.
----------------------------------------1. On the BONIC MANAGER --- Project commands --- Select Remove 2. On the BONIC MANAGER ---- Add Project 3. Select WCG and add 4. Enter your User ID and password. This fired up the download of tasks and processing resumes. One more thing I am going to be more vigilant in checking my devices to see that they are working on tasks. Based on the referenced thread https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=526541 this appears to be a common problem. ![]() ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by dcs1955 at Jul 10, 2016 11:49:56 AM] |
