Hey, all!
I've been a WCG/BOINC member for nearly a year and recently earned a Silver Badge for Mapping Cancer Markers. Today, for the first time, I've noticed that my latest MCM unit is progressing at an extremely slow rate: has anyone else noticed this? I'd be grateful for any knowledgeable reply, because I am a bit concerned. My internet connection and network are functioning normally. |

Long as you see the task progress % go up, you're fine. Maybe it is a harder unit, or your computer is running slower because it's hotter down your end? If you have not restarted your computer for longer, try doing that as other processes [outside of BOINC] could be taking a lot of time. [TaskManager, started with Ctrl+Shft+Esc keys, would show such programs].

Thank you very much for your reply! I've restarted my computer and there's been no change, but they're almost done anyway, and they may be harder units.
