Running W7, W8.1 [until 2 days ago], W10 home and pro and not seeing it... dumped Avast on the W10 boxes and now 'trusting' (ahum) the Windows Defender composite to do the security work for a while in combo with Windows Firewall (Don't forget to let the boinc.exe executable through on incoming or you wont have remote communication).

There was this interesting comment by tech about client 6.10 problems (only log review reveals client version), but can't remember it being pointed out what that problem exactly was and if this was science specific.

Again this morning a 'committed to other platforms' for this test, so flopped the profiles back once more. :(

Got a similar problem as Yoro42. All 3 Beta WUs to a single Windows 7 Ultimate x64 machine errored out with Reason: Access Violation (0xc0000005) at address 0x7701E43E read attempt to address 0x6C7DB6C4.
Client version on this particular machine is 7.6.9, it was current when it was installed and hasn't been touched since.
The machine has not rebooted since the WUs were downloaded and it doesn't normally produce Error WUs at all AFAIK.
Other machines appear to have processed at least some of these WUs without generating an access violation.

This is the end result for the beta unit I mentioned yesterday. At least _0 and _4 turned Valid, even with 10 restarts from checkpoints in _0.

Here's an example of one copy (_0) erroring almost immediately with exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005), but where _1 and my _2 repair ended with Valid. Mine also included restarting from a checkpoint.

Here are 2 examples of 2 copies turning PVer without anything unusual in the Result Logs, not even a restart from a checkpoint. I'm guessing that one of the PVers will turn Invalid in each case sad.

We'll see what happens when the _2 repair reports in for this first one:

The OS X version had been promoted to production but the Windows 32 bit update did not pass beta.
