Croatia, Well, no response after 1 1/2 years, it can probably safely assumed that the general answer is/was a resounding "no".did that answer your question Chromebooks simply do not have a proper OS and filesystem and do not allow to install any client software. They are pretty much useless for anything but web browsing... Ralf |

Try it out. I have heard of people running Boinc on x86 implementations of Android. I don't know what they were running on Boinc. Maybe it is worth a try.

Any there many apps (including non WCG) that support x86/Android? They are usually ARM/Android or Windows/Linux/MacOS with x86.

I am Japanese and not English
Please acknowledge that there is a possibility that it may be weird English due to writing with Google Translate Boinc execution on Android terminal has succeeded on android 4.4.4 terminal but failed in Android 7.0 and Android 7.1.1 We do not support the latest Android Google 翻訳 |

Someone asked about this over at Rosetta as well, can you boot a USB stick with Linux or is external booting not allowed? Because of the x86/Android limitation (though I see there are some Chromebooks that have ARM processors) I would think Linux would probably be the most useful.
