Hey guys. For the past couple of days I've been trying to send out an email to my team and each time I try I get an error "The application is unavailable at this time, please try again later." Anyone know what is causing this and, if it is on WCG's side, when it will be fixed?

More information. Some people have gotten all 8 attempts, others haven't received anything at all even though they know they are on the list to recieve emails from the team.

Anyone know what is causing this and, if it is on WCG's side, when it will be fixed? It's WCG's cookie monster, in amongst [and some script blocking possibly. If you use NoScript add-on, check if the status icon is white or has a stop sign on top, then selectively approve, or do a temp.all.allowed to see if it goes away]. Also try Ctrl+F5. |

Please try your team email again. This should be fixed.
The issue was that one or two of your team members has an invalid email address which threw an exception. This caused the sending to break out of the loop and show the error that you saw. We are now catching that exception and logging the error, but continuing on with all valid email addresses. |

There's 3 parts in which the problem can be sliced:
1) the "The application is unavailable at this time, please try again later." which members get to see one time or the other. 2) the email team distribution that 3) AND for years and years, members being told that their email address is not valid, when in fact it is valid [I've seen it quite a few times for my hotmail.com account]. Because it is base for my CPID since as long as I crunch, basically shrug and let it be. Go figure. |
