Hi
----------------------------------------I have been running for 4 weeks and it has gone well. My Pending Validation numbers have gone from 2 pages to 1 page. MY RAC is leveling off to the natural performance of my 3 aged laptops. One set of ??? I have is concerning Invalid work units. Hi dcs1955,
There's an FAQ about result status. For Invalid, it says, The result was returned to the server and was not found to be equal to the majority of results returned for the workunit. Once results have been returned, a validation process runs on the servers. There can occasionally be problems with that process, e.g. with a new research project, but usually an Invalid means that that copy of the workunit gave a slightly different result. It can be caused by a variety of issues, e.g. overclocking too much. |
