We've decreased the feeder priority of the OpenZika project. This means that volunteers with multiple projects selected are less likely to pull work units for OpenZika, but there will continue to be a continuous supply of work available for the project. Volunteers with only OpenZika selected should not notice a difference.
The reason for this change is to allow the researchers time to create work units for the next targets and refill the pipeline. OpenZika may return to it's previous speed if work units are able to be created quickly enough and that evaluation should be made in the coming days/weeks. Seippel |

Seippel Yes you did, about 3 days ago when we were trundling along at 500K plus results a day ;O) 1st 523,142 2nd 527,563 3th 518,253 4th 429,345 5th 362,038 6th 325,201 (And Dr. Perryman did mention he was looking at this fine 'keep up' problem. :D) |

So 24 hours on, my Android with OET/ZIKA selected, all there is for Android, is only getting OET. So much for the value of selecting multiple projects on a profile/device. The definition of useless pretty much is and continues to apply. Nothing at all to give a fair distribution of sciences for which a host is volunteered. Join the fight against Zika only works it seems by unjoining the fight against Ebola.
End of grunt. |

Volunteers with only OpenZika selected should not notice a difference. My two Odroids are set to OpenZika with others if OpenZika runs out of work. So far there has been no problem. Plenty of work available. |

I think I disabled -all- other projects but OpenZika, yet I keep getting work units for other ones. How do I prevent that? I only want to contribute to the zika work now.

Go to Settings → Device Manager, then click the Selected Profile for your device, select Custom Profile, then make sure that "If there is no work available for the project(s) I have selected above, please send me work from another project" is unchecked. Then click Save. [Edit 2 times, last edit by adriverhoef at Jun 10, 2016 1:21:41 PM] |

OpenZika has now been returned to its original feeder priority.
