Any one here using Damned Small Linux with Boinc?
If other, what minimal combination do you use?? |

DSL being 32bit and no longer supported I hear would put me off

server version of Ubuntu is not big either because is stripped out of any desktop app and desktop. Can still add desktop in what lite version you prefer. I use it for the LTS versions that keeps maintance for five years.

Also, Lubuntu is said to be a lighter type, but frankly, if I get 99.5% efficiency with a full blown Ubuntu on Unity interface, what then is there to gain other than the few seconds gain in loading the smaller OS? |
