I've just had two android WU's from batch 1220 fail with "Maximum disk usage exceeded". Haven't had problems until now.

Pretty amazing batch 1220 is [still] in circulation [or it is one one the very long running batches that were to be held back to the end, somewhere in 2017]. The highest batch seen atm is 3939, where we're kind of in the 3800+ activity range.

This is for Zika, not Ebola.

Ah, that project progressed to at least batch 6081 on my tablet. Thought repairs assumed the 8mb max size. Did your event log say by how much it went over?

My Nexus 5 phone is failing every Zika task, but my two Odroids are having 100% success. I'm having the same issue with my Nexus 5. Moved it back to ebola. Testing out how the Nexus 7 does on zika today. The 7 runs fine. 100% success over the past few days running 3 of 4 cores 24/7. Looks like the problem is just with the 5. |

I kept an eye on one task that was in fourth (5 time) incarnation sent to me. Surprisingly it went without problem. All before me errored out, then wing man validated it and it's gone.
I observe that some android devices fails constantly. Mine is mtk 6735 processor but it worked as 32 bit so is equivalent to mtk 6580. My android is 3.10.65+ or something, other have difference in last digits and failed. This is m ad thing. Lollipop 5.1 . Around 6-8-10-12-14 hours for one task instead of 2 hours on desktop. Three to five more power efficient computation. It works on fours cores four tasks ( before un update it not refreshed automatically the screen showing progress of tasks but after that no problem), for now it works default on two cores because it is summer time and constraint is when reaching 40 degree on the battery. It constantly on on outlet power because paussed computation on battery. Many ways costly. It is new device designed and made in China Cubot h2. I just experiment with it. If replications are just two, android is very power efficient. Oh, there was one strange task which was aborted (as valid result) because someone else validated faster than and before me. It's weird because it is not finished with error or time out, (after death time). Maybe abortion in realtime !? The trademarks are not mine. I just play. |

Still got the same issue. Getting about 10% success rate with HTC One on Android 5.0.2.
Down to one core, should be no stop/start as the charger can keep up and I've set it to run on battery between charger stops. There should be no waiting for a power supply. Battery never gets below 90% and temp never gets above limit (it's winter here). RAM available is heaps, storage is heaps i.e I use the phone to make calls and have very few apps installed. I don't want to waste wingman's time so will push device across to OET which was more stable. |
