For some of the really long WUs, I'm seeing joke credit - 29.8.
----------------------------------------Here's our longest WU: ZIKA_000001261_x1nb7_HCVJ4_RNAPol_wRNAand2Mn_chnB_0336 Valid 22.84/23.15 CPU/run 29.8 claimed/granted credit?!?! Here's our second longest WU: ZIKA_000001225_x1nb7_HCVJ4_RNAPol_wRNAand2Mn_chnB_0320 Valid 20.85/23.15 CPU/run 572.3 claimed/granted credit Why are some of these soooo low? Both ran for nearly a day, but credit is a 20x difference. Can the techs look into this? Thanks. |

Something was on, as I noticed the morning average fell quite a bit, lowest for the 6 day stats (bright red curve):
----------------------------------------https://bit.ly/WCGCPH1 Speculation, part of this is too the switching from quorum credit to single credit as devices are gaining 'reliable' status, but surely the house outlier rules must have kicked in. uplinger did apply some fixes for HST1 [follow that black curve], so maybe these are suitable to too be implemented for ZIKA aka MDDS [Edit 1 times, last edit by SekeRob* at May 23, 2016 5:00:34 PM] |

I'm seeing the same thing on 3 different machines - only getting 3 or 4 credits per hour while the wingman is getting 10+ times that. The wingman loses big time if we are paired on the same WUs. I've dumped all my Zika WUs. When the issue are fixed I'll come back.

If you are only doing this for the points, at least you are doing it. The extra low points are a pain in the neck if the points are important for you, but at least look on the bright side - at least the long units are not erroring any more (so far). Sorry you felt the need to dump the WU's. Could this be why there has been a recent drop in points on WCG as a whole to under 700,000,000?

Could this be why there has been a recent drop in points on WCG as a whole to under 700,000,000? Off topic: The total time is down which probably accounts for the drop in points. It might be related to warm weather in the northern hemisphere causing some crunchers to cut back. Just speculating. Cheers

OK, I stand corrected. Knreed has stated that the IBM team got caught in the .png download problem which severely impacted the work being done.

I though Zika was VINA based? Credit issues like this have been inherent to VINA projects. VINA's a fast way to board a new project but makes it one to avoid if you're going after points.
