Re: What project would you like to crunch on in the future?

Zika project is in BETA (almost 100% sure of that), KLiK.

I guess I would like to see a fibromyalgia project and a phase 2 of GO Fight Against Malaria.

Re: What project would you like to crunch on in the future?

So it was a typo, MDDZ it has to be ;O).

One member broke out of this and started a new thread on wanting to crunch epilepsy. We can all want, but unless there's a model and target to simulate against, suitable for DCing, there's going to be very little folding or docking or mapping or whatever. As so many times commented, if you know someone in research of the specific disease, contact the person(s) and make them aware of this 'free' resource. As with SIMAP though, they had it all for free, found a pile of money to deploy their SIMAP2 on their own computing center [and not be locked into publication for free use]. There's been several projects that faltered well before gridification because of not meeting the access rules [cost versus project duration was one, not open sourcing was another].

hehe, it's just my belief now, knowing that WCG is/was looking for a Zika project and that this new project is working on the Flaviviridae viruses family, to which Zika belongs (from the WU names, unless the WCG techs put those just to steer us away from the real project target haha :D)

Re: What project would you like to crunch on in the future?

I like the green energy projects. I always crunch for water and would love to see Solar go a bit further.

I am always dismayed that solar hasn't gotten any further in my lifetime... The collectors seem to have advanced recently (thank you, Chinese mfgrs), but we are still using 60 year old technology for the power storage...
Lets get our chit together and make some true advances in the most abundant and always free power source!

Imma gonna go hug a tree now.

Sign me,
Hippy chicky
