I just got three of them. First one is 65% done after 4 minutes 30 seconds. Hope they all don't go that fast. Same here. One finished quickly, validated with 0.10 hours...Edit -- now in PV -- 0.10 hours credits. Others are going slower. Got about a dozen more across half a dozen machines, but won't know how they are coming along until the end of the workday... Ralf |

Interesting. Well, got a few more by now, all "shorties" of 2-6 minutes, the latest new one with the interesting WU name ofDidn't get any tasks. It's Vina so I suppose it could be Zika or the HFCC new project. Or even, like Mumak said, phase 2 for DSFL :D "BETA_MDDS_000000007_x2hcn_WestNileV_RNAPol_0626" Ralf |

EDIT: DOH! MDDS is the project name. HCV is another viral infection like West Nile. EDIT2: FWIW, 26 received, 11 PV, 4 running, 7 Valid. All under 20 minutes except one that went just over an hour. Google keeps coming up with Hepititus C Virus for HCV. Don't see how that relates to West Nile. It's got to be something covering mesquito-borne viruses. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by keithhenry at May 7, 2016 2:12:29 AM] |

All seem to have worked/be working fine. Massive time variation, ranging from 6 minutes - 2.52 hours so far.

With some more digging, HCV could be Human Coronavirus (SARS and MERS being the really bad ones and those are airborne, not mesquito) but not seeing how that would tie in to West Nile. Whatever the case, it's sounding like a VERY interesting project. Time to crunch betas and wait for the announce. |

How about MultiDrugDiscoveryScan (?)
I think that HCV are WNV in the flaviviridae class of viruses that were examined in the DDDT project. I hope that someone gets around to following up HFCC's targeting of the Btrk enzyme in cancers other than neuroblastoma. I've also been wondering whether the BEDAM software being tried in order to reduce the number of false positives from AutoDock and VINA in FAAH might be tried against the DDDT project's targets, which also produced too many false positives. Back to the current beta test ... With the first batches of WUs, I LAIM-less-ly tried quite a few suspend/resumes. All seemed to restart from checkpoints successfully. I did NOT include restarting the BOINC daemons or rebooting the computers in my testing procedure. In order to catch the WUs soon after checkpoints and then suspend them, I used the "Suspend at Checkpoint" function in BOINCtasks. Very handy. (Use by right-clicking the target task. Also very useful when you are running sparse-checkpointing projects like CEP2 when you want to reboot or shut down a computer without losing lots of crunching time). |

About 36 WUs received; indeed very short WUs.
----------------------------------------At this time (24+ computed) looks everything fine on AMD/Intel Linux side. |
