I just got pointed here from Twitter: https://twitter.com/WCGrid/status/780206697642098688
My Question is sadly not fully answered: Could I just go out, buy 48 Titan X in 12 rather beefy PCs and outcompute the WCG? Or rather, could I double its compute power? The cost of this would probably be around 60-70k$ + Electricity, which seems very low for the value provided if my napkin math is correct. If it is not, how much money would I have to pour in to double the WCG power? Are there some graphs how the WCG crunching power developed over time? |

Don't confuse cpu and gpu statistics. Titans are gpu and there are currently no gpu projects on WCG.
