Default profile setting issue

Settings -> Device Manager -> Device Profiles -> Default

It was set to maximum output. I switched this profile to use "Custom Profile" and removed some projects that I don't want to run. After hitting "Save", I was told the profile saved successfully.

If I open the Default profile again, it still shows "maximum output". However, I can verify from my client that the configuration is updated and I am getting desired projects. Also, if I select "Custom Profile" again, it shows all the fields same as I configured last time.

Home/school/work profiles display perfectly fine. Only "Default" one always shows "maximum output" while it was clearly using my customized changes.

So it's more of an inconvenience rather than a functional issue. Just reporting in case someone cares. (Or in case I hit a jackpot and is the only account suffering this issue. That's still good to know. :-P)

Sorry I didn't find anything directly addressing the behavior I described. However, there is a guide for creating arbitrary number of profiles so I am happy!
