At first, the BOINC software on your computer was asking for ATI WUs (GPU workunits, if your computer has a usable GPU):WorldCommunityGrid doesn't have GPU projects at the moment.

Later on, you managed to make it ask for CPU WUs:... and you finally got your WUs, congratulations! :-)

An in-vain request for GPU work leads to a server instructed backoff of something like 14 days at WCG [maybe it's much longer now, years after last GPGPU project ended], because there aint.

Also remember, if the client was newly build, the x-project sharing has to rebuild from scratch so it starts work on projects that are asked first [which then fills up the buffer]. Whichever project got asked first will be the one that has it's website settings loaded onto the client upon which it then actions. If there was no change on WCG since whenever, those preferences will not be transmitted to the client [no flag setting]. Still if the website 'default' profile [which is used upon first attach] has no GPU disable, and the client has the resource active, work will be asked for, and then the said back-off will be initiated by WCG.

So, next time if you have to rebuild a client / system, attach WCG first and it will get first work call [from the 'default' profile settings]. At WCG you choose which your default profile is [don't know how that works anywhere else].

Oh yes, if ever, the project profile that was *last* changed will be the final loaded onto a client [they are time stamped], so if e.g. you had an Einstein change as last, those will rule v.v. the global_preferences from any project. If you look through the log, you see the changes at Rosetta on the home profile are in charge:
