I'm currently getting a whole bunch of very short tasks (Finished in 10 Minutes)
----------------------------------------Is there an bug or should it be like this? e.g.: OET1_ 0001741_ xEBGP-FW_ rig_ 68063_ 0-- [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Feb 4, 2016 12:19:44 AM] |

OET tasks vary greatly in length. Periodically there are some groups which may finish in 10 minutes or less. This is normal for this project. Crunch on.

If they are validating okay, then it's fine. OET has had batches before of WUs that are very short.

They're padding your total results stats... be thankful. I'm slugging along toward my 20-year badge with FightAids2 with work units averaging 15 hours each. [:/]

@keithhenry
If they are validating okay, then it's fine. OET has had batches before of WUs that are very short. The problem is those of us who don't have a permanent internet connection and get our WUs in batches via "dial-up". I ran out of tasks in the middle of the night and wasted at least 10 core hours of possible crunching. It looks like I'll have to go back to testing at least one of every new numbered batch as they come in. |

Seem to be getting a lot more points for these short WUs
----------------------------------------02/04/2016 0:007:04:05:33 104,718 687 02/03/2016 0:007:04:37:39 32,647 112 02/02/2016 0:007:08:01:55 39,134 97 My last 3 days of stats. Runtime is about the same. But when these short WUs arrived, the quantity I completed went through the roof, which is fair enough, but I thought the points would be more-or-less the same. I thought the points calculation was related to the time you spend, not the quantity of WUs completed. ![]() |

The ride seems to have ended with the 1762 batch :-(
----------------------------------------Looks like the xEBGP-FW were the short ones. Too bad, I was just going to start one more dual-Xeon machine :-( ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Mumak at Feb 5, 2016 2:36:16 PM] |

The ride seems to have ended with the 1762 batch :-( Looks like the xEBGP-FW were the short ones. Too bad, I was just going to start one more dual-Xeon machine :-( Looks like it. The xEBGP-S_rig ones from the 1762 batch are taking longer. Edit: First ones are completing. Takes 2.5-3 times as long as the xEBGP-FW_rig ones but normal OET is 5-6 times as long. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by keithhenry at Feb 5, 2016 3:28:06 PM] |
