Second thoughts........nevermind.it may screw up my first team if i create a second for test purposes.
Can you get someone who hasn't started a team to create a dummy run team.....then to edit the team name and see if it works? |

test is in phase 1..............

Hi JC,
I know you can rename your team and am "pretty sure" you will not lose your points. Here is how you change the team name: How can I change my team name, description, or URL? Team name, description, and URL can only be changed by the team captain. To change this information, sign in to My Grid, select My Team from the left menu. From the My Team page, select Edit. On the Edit Your Team page, make the changes and press Save. I will search and see if I can find out anything about the points part, understand that is very important! |

Hello everyone,
If you change your team's name, then the only thing that changes is your team's name. The stats remain the same, you will continue to earn new points and all of your existing team members will stay on the team. You can change the team name (if you are the captain) by going to: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/team/viewMyTeam.do Next click on the 'edit' button. Lastly, type in the new name for your team in the team name box and click on the 'save' button. Your new team name will take effect immediately (except for team names that are listed on the 'whats new' section of the home page - those will be updated the next time the statistics run). knreed |
