Another major breakthrough for recycling by SpaceX will hasten our way to the stars.

Now we can really start to explore more... ![]() All we need now is warp drive. I'm fortunate enough to live about 30 miles from where these launches take place. I can sit in my front yard and have an unobstructed view. The night SpaceX and ULA launches are fun to watch but they pale in comparison to the shuttle launches. Even 30 miles away they shook the house and lit up the night sky like a sunrise.
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

All we need now is warp drive. Given enough time it will get here. I wonder whether it will be named after an individual(s)/corporation who make it a reality or keep the term Warp Drive. Whatever happens it will be Spock On! if you don't mind a pun. ![]() |

Whatever happens it will be Spock On! if you don't mind a pun. well they are doing it in NASA & it's called Alcubierre drive: http://www.nasa.gov/centers/glenn/technology/warp/warp.html why Alcubierre? it's a physicist that proposed how to make a warp bubble to propel a space-ship...& to do it with less energy! ion drives keep developing... but also, soon we'll have an EM drives: http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2015/04/evaluating-nasas-futuristic-em-drive/ ![]() |
