Hey everybody,

I figured this is relevant to the ongoing discussion of Phase 2 progress. I have finally gotten around to updating our Phase 2 status page to be updated automatically (found here). Up to now, I've been doing it manually, and honestly have been doing a poor job of keeping you guys up-to-date. I have it set now to update the %completed and the animated pie charts weekly (on the weekends). The html should be scraping-friendly too in case anyone does that as well.

Instead of being manually updated, the page now uses a templating engine with a few very small server-side scripts. There isn't too much room for bugs, but since it's automated, there's always that risk. If you happen to notice anything wonky with the site please make a post here (I don't post much but I'm often lurking in the forums!) or find my email address on our people page and shoot me an email.

@Maxxina, you'll have to ask about Phase 1 status page updates in the Phase 1 forum as the Phase 1 status page is maintained by the Olson lab at TSRI.
